On the 25th of August 2018, the inaugural WAM festival took place in Henley on Klip, a small village on the Klipriver. WAM is an acronym for Wine, arts and Music.
The event combined wine tasting with art exhibitions at various venues in and around the
village. The highlight of the event was a concert on the Saturday evening featuring soloists with the Pretoria Symphony Orchestra. Werner Stolze pianos very kindly sponsored the grand piano used for this concert.
We were very impressed with the excellent service provided by WS pianos. They kept us up to date throughout the delivery day and the piano was set up very quickly.
Naomi stayed in touch with us throughout the process to ensure that everything was running smoothly. I can absolutely recommend WS pianos for any event requiring a piano. They provide a friendly and extremely professional, efficient service and the product never disappoints.
Several establishments were involved in the success of our festival, all of who were impressed with the service provided by WS pianos. These included: The Hound Bistro; The Makery; Montagues Restaurant; Bass Lake; About Thyme; The Merchant Hotel; Robert Hewer; Henley on Klip Lions club, Henley on Klip Rotary club; and Ducks country house.

Dear Werner and Naomi,
It is a great honour to thank you for your incredible generosity, professionalism and help regarding the sponsorship of a grand piano for Serendipity Quartet’s concert ‘Encounters’ on the 24th of November 2018 at the N.G Kerk Waterkloof in Pretoria. The piano was delivered and set up well in advance of the concert, it was perfectly tuned and in a great working condition.
The Serendipity Quartet together with our pianist François Labuschagne performed the Brahms Piano Quintet in F minor, Op. 34 which is a massive work with a very extensive piano part. It requires a piano with a big sound and one that can capture and produce the various tonal nuances that are needed to deliver an authentic rendition of this legendary piece. The piano that Werner Stolze of WS Pianos so generously sponsored for the event more than met these criteria.
Without their generous sponsorship, the concert would not have been a possibility, since we would not have had the necessary funds to pay for the hire of a grand piano. We at Serendipity Quartet are therefore incredibly grateful towards Werner and Naomi Stolze, since we do realise that the transport and lending of an instrument does come with many risks involved. Werner and Naomi, however, never complained and were only too happy to help us reach our goal.
After this positive experience the Serendipity Quartet will definitely make use again of WS Pianos in the future. We would also like to recommend them to anyone interested in the renting, servicing, tuning and transporting of pianos, whether it is for professional or domestic purposes.
