ABOUT
A legacy of piano craftsmanship and care
Generations of Craft, Serving Today’s Musicians
Carrying the Stolze family legacy into America
Since 1889, the Stolze name has been synonymous with piano mastery. Today, WS Pianos continues that tradition with heart, precision, and a commitment to every client.

A Legacy That Lasts
For more than 130 years, the Stolze family has been restoring, tuning, and rebuilding pianos with one mission: to keep instruments singing for generations. Founded by Werner and Naomi Stolze, WS Pianos carries this legacy into the modern era, combining German master certification with family-run dedication.
Whether it’s a school’s practice upright or a concert hall’s grand piano, we treat every instrument with the same care, precision, and respect. Our work is guided by integrity, transparency, and a simple belief: every piano has a soul worth preserving.

Meet the Master Builder
Werner Stolze
Werner grew up in his father’s piano workshop, learning the art of craftsmanship from the age of twelve. By his late teens, he was already trusted to tune instruments for South African presidents and international performers.
Today, he is one of the few German-certified Master Piano Builders working in America. From restoring century-old grands to preparing concert pianos for global artists, Werner’s expertise is rooted in heritage and proven on the world stage. Clients trust him not just for his technical skill, but for his respect toward every instrument’s history and voice.
